Walton Plaza official killed in Ctg road crash

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: An official of Walton Plaza was killed as an oil tanker of Jamuna Oil Company crashed into his motorbike of the district's Doublemuring Dewan hat area on Monday evening.

The deceased was identified as Absar Uddin, 50,  hailed from Anwara upazila, was a Sales Executive of Agrabad Plaza of Walton.

Chittagong Area Manager of Walton Fahad Hossain confirmed the news.

Sheelbrato, Aassistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Chittagong Medical College and Hospital police outpost, said  Absar was rushed to the hospital after the road crash where attending doctors declared him dead.

Later, his colleagues and relatives took the body to his village home, he added.
