Wasika, Soni get nominations from Chattogram

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Bangladesh Awami League finalized nominations of its two candidates from Chattogram for the elections to the women reserved seats in the 11^th Jatiya Sangsad.

The nominations were finalized at a joint meeting of the AL Parliamentary Board and Local Government Election Nomination Board held at Ganabhaban, the official residence of the Prime Minister, on Friday night.

The two candidates who secured nominations for the women reserved seats are Wasika Ayesha Khan, daughter of late AL presidium member Ataur Rahman Khan Kaiser and Khadijatul Anwar Soni, daughter of late lawmaker of Fatikchhari Rafiqul Anwar Chowdhury.

The election for reserved women seats will be held on March 4.
