Woman body cut into 35 pieces recovered in Ashulia

Staff Correspondent, Savar: Police recovered a woman's body which was cut into 35 pieces in Ashulia, the outskirts of Dhaka.
The pieces of the body were found in a plastic drum at an immigrant's house named Masud Mia at Jamgorha area on Friday night. The killer might have fled the scene hiding the pieces in the drum.
Police could not be identified the body immediately as it was cut into many pieces.
However, the woman's husband went into hiding since the incident. He might be involved in the murder, police guessed.
Jahidul Islam, Inspector (Operation) of Ashulia Police Station, confirmed the news.
He said the two people identifying themselves as couple rented a room of the house just days ago. The room was found locked since they rented it. The man is on run, the mystery could not be uncovered immediately. Police are trying to arrest him.
