Woman found dead in drum in Gazipur

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: An unknown woman was found dead in a drum at Bhogra guava garden area under Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) on Saturday noon.
The age of the woman is likely to be about 40 years.
Santosh Chandra Das, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Joydevpur Police Station, confirmed the news.
He said being informed by locals, police recovered the body from a plastic drum and sent it to Shahid Tazuddin Ahmed Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Injury marks were noticed as the body decomposed. She might have been killed four or five days ago.
