Woman hangs herself to death after stabbing woman

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: A woman committed suicide after stabbing her house-owner’s wife in Baluchora area under Bayazid Bostami thana in Chattogram on Thursday night.
The deceased was identified as Liza, 24.
Bayazid Bostami Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ataur Rahman said that Liza was told to leave the rented house which made her angry. At one stage, she indiscriminately stabbed her house-owner’s wife Antora, 26 with knife to take revenge.
Later, she committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan, at her own room.
On information, police recovered the body of Liza and sent it to Chattogram Medical College morgue.
