Woman held with 28,000 Yaba in Cumilla

Cumilla Correspondent: Police have arrested a woman with 28,000 yaba pills in Cumilla’s Chauddagram Upazila.

The detainee identified as Salima Begum, wife of late Mohammad Hossain, hailed from Dakkhin Jaliapara area of Teknaf in Cox's Bazar.

Police said acting on a tip-off, the law enforcers stopped a passenger bus on Dhaka-Chattogram highway on Tuesday afternoon. Later, the Yaba pills were recovered 28,000 Yaba pills from the woman searching the bus.

The worth of the Yaba pills is around Tk84 lakh.
