Worker electrocuted at Rangpur Hospital

Staff Correspondent, Rangpur: A construction worker was electrocuted at Rangpur Community Medical College Hospital building on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Khademul Islam, 25, son of late Ayub Ali, hailed from Uttara Birabari village of Sadar Upazila.

Sources said that the accident occurred when the worker came in contact with a live electric wire while he tried to pull rod at the building roof.

Md Mirazul Muhisan, Additional director of Rangpur Community Medical College Hospital said it was an accident. The body was sent to Rangpur Medical College.
