Youth hacked dead in Khulna

Staff Correspondent, Khulna: A youth was hacked to death by miscreants at Pashchim Tutparha of the city on Friday night.

The deceased was identified as Tanvir Hossain Roky, 29, son of Anwar Hossain of Altapole area of the city.

He was accused in 10 to 12 cases including murder, police claimed.

SM Miznur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khulna Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said miscreants hacked Roky to death by sharp weapons at Balurmath area of Pashchim Tutparha, adjacent to Darogah slum, around 9:30pm on Friday. Being informed, he was rushed to Khulna Medical College and Hospital whete attending doctors declared him dead.
