Youth kills father in Feni

Feni Correspondent: A madrasa teacher named Abdul Malek, 70, was stabbed to death by his son at GM Hat of the district’s Fulgazi upazila on Friday night.

This incident happened in East Bashikpur village. The deceased Abdul Malek was a teacher of local Darul Qur'an Madrasa.

GM HAT UP Chairman Mujibul Haque said that Abdul Malek and his son Abdul Halim (19) locked into a quarrel over family issue at night. At one stage, Halim stabbed his father and escaped from the spot. Seriously injured Abdul Malek was taken to Feni Sadar Hospital where he died around 11.00pm.

Fulgazi Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) MM Morshed confirmed the incident. The police is trying to arrest the murderer boy, he said.
