Youth’s slit-throat body found in Rajshahi

Staff Correspondent, Rajshahi: Police have recovered slit-throat body of an unidentified youth in Poba upazila of Rajshahi district.

The body has been recovered from Koikuri mor area of the upazila around 8:00am on Friday.

Poba police station's Sub-Inspector (SI) Abdus Salam confirmed this to risingbd.

Locals found the body in the morning and informed Poba police station. On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body, the SI said.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Poba police station Parimal Kumar Chakraborty said there was no mark of blood on the spot.

It is suspected that miscreants might have dumped the body here after murdering the youth in another place, the OC said.
