Risingbd Desk: AFM Mohitul Islam, the plaintiff in the murder case of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, has died on Thursday.
He was 63.
Mohitul Islam breathed his last at 2.55pm at Dhaka`s Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital, said the university`s section officer (public relations Prasanta Kumar Mazumdar.
He was suffering from kidney and lungs complexities and was under life support for nearly a month.
AFM Mohitul Islam was Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman`s personal assistant.
He filed Bangabandhu murder case with Dhanmondi Police Station on October 2, 1996.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed grief at the demise of Mohitul Islam.
