Eid special launch service from July 14

Staff Correspondent: The Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) will start special launch services from July 14 to deal with the rush of home-bound passengers on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr.  

Sources said that BITWC will start their Eid special waterway service from July 14 and launch service will be started from July 15 which will continue till July 27.

The tickets will be available within two or three days and the tickets will be sold by lottery system.

BIWTC public relations officer Nazrul Islam Misha said that special tickets can be collected from the counters of BIWTC and online service.

He also said that online partner Sohoz.com will sold the Eid special tickets.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is schedule to inaugurated a new water vessel named Modhumoti through video conference.

Passengers are requested to call 16374 to get Eid special ticket services from online Sohoz.com.
