Godfather behind NBR member’s shooting!

Uzzal Jisan:  Investigation officers have found that a godfather was involved in shooting of NBR member Barrister Jahangir Hossain Hawladar.

The officers have found this information after interrogating several processional killers who were involved in the shooting incident.

In the evening of March 23, a group of miscreants shot Jahangir Hossain inside Customs Officers Quarter at Bannani in the city.

Jahangir Hossain sustained bullet injury and he was immediately taken to United Hospitals at Gulshan.

Investigation Officer of the case Enamul Haq told risingbd that five attackers were arrested from the capital’s Uttara, Kuril and Demra areas after three months of the incident. The attackers gave confessional statement when they were put on remand.
 
Assistant Police Commissioner Md. Snigdha Akhtar told risingbd that they are confirmed about the clue of shooting, but he denied disclosing the name of godfather for the interest of investigation. The arrestees will further be put on remand for more information, he said.

Barrister Jahangir Hossain Hawladar led many drives to seize several gold and drug consignments at Shahjalal Airport in Dhaka, Shah Amanat Airport in Chittagong and Shah Paran Airport in Sylhet.
