Govt stakeholders involved in question leakage: TIB

Staff Correspondent: Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) on Wednesday claimed that some of the government stakeholders were involved in question leakage crimes in country`s public examinations.

The Bangladesh chapter of Transparency International non-governmental organization came up with the allegation while unveiling a research report in this regard in the capital on the day.

"Some government stakeholders who were involved in making and distribution of questions committed those of the crimes," the TIB report also added.

While unveiling the report at a press conference, TIB authorities also claimed, "Some private stakeholders, however, were also involved in the crimes with the government staff."

The report also said that the question leakage tendency was started from 1979 after the liberation war, when the questions of SSC examination in that year were leaked.

"But it is happening in a regular basis since last five years," the press conference was also told.  

Executive Director of TIB, Dr. Iftekharuzzaman, and some other high officials of the organisation were also present, among others, at the programme.
