HM Ershad to certify party candidates

Staff Correspondent: Jatiya Party Chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad will give certificate to party candidates to get nomination from Election Commission (EC) in the country`s maiden partisan municipal polls.

An attested letter signed by former President Hussain Muhammad Ershad was submitted to Election Commission on Saturday noon.

Nurul Islam Nuru, joint secretary general of the party submitted the sample signature to EC. Now party candidates will require HM Ershad’s concent to get nomination from EC.
