‘$15 billion to come from ICT sector by 2021’

Natore Correspondent: State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak said ICT sector will earn 15 billion dollars by 2021.

The Minister made the opinion while addressing a programme at Singra of Natore on Saturday noon.

He said that Bangladesh is earning 28 million dollars from garments sector now and the country will earn 15 billion dollar similarly from ICT sector by 2021.

Zunaid Ahmed Palak said that at least two hundred public institutions are providing online service as a result; time, expenditure and service have reached to the hands of people easily.

Singra Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Nasir Uddin Mandal presided over the programme where Deputy Commissioner Shahina Khatun, Police Super Biplab Bijoy Talukdar and others attended the programme.
