Mother allegedly kills children in Faridpur

Faridpur Correspondent: Police detained a mother in allegation of killing her two children in Charbagat village under Modhukhali Upazila of the district on Thursday noon.

The detainee is identified as Taslima Begum, 28, wife of Abdullah-Al-Mamun.

Sources said that police recovered the bodies of Toki Molla, 5 and six-months old Tahera, on May 1 from the village.

Later, Yousuf Ali, father-in-law of the accused, filed a case with police Modhukhali police station on Monday night.

Modhukhali police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) said that Taslima confessed her guilt during primary investigation.
