Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Peninsula Chittagong won the title of AK Khan Corporate Cricket League-2016.
The Peninsula Chittagong beat AK Khan Group by 98 runs in the final at AK Khan Ground. Batting first, Peninsula Chittagong 230 runs while A K Khan Group were all out collecting only 132 runs.
Director of AK KHAN Group Mr. Mustafa AK Khan handed over the championship trophy to the captain of team Peninsula Mustak Luhar. The winning team also received a cheque of tk 1 lakh.
K.M. Motiur Rahman who scored 107 runs off 32 balls was awarded the Man of the Final and Man of the Tournament as well.
The tournament participated by eight teams of knock out challenge in T20 Format began on the 6 May, 2016.
