Power plant catches fire in Narayanganj

Staff Correspondent, Naraynganj: Fire broke out at Haripur power plant of the district port upazila early Sunday.

Seven units of Fire Services doused the fire after their frantic efforts of half and two hours.

Confirming the incident, Abul Kalam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Port Police Station, said the fire might have been broken out from short circuit.

No casualties were reported in the incident.
