Bashundhara Bangladesh Open: Siddikur achieves 2nd place

Sport Desk: Bangladesh's ace golfer Siddikur Rahman has achieved runners-up in the Bashundhara Bangladesh Open at the Kurmitola Golf Club on Saturday.

Siddukur played 13 shots below par to maintain his good performance at the final round.

The two-time Asian Tour winner Siddikur got 6 birdies and one bogey today.

Young Thai talent Jazz Janewattananond, who led the scorecard from the start of the tournament, ended on a brilliant score of 17-under-par to take home the title, but the biggest story remained the turnaround from Siddikur.

A total of 134 golfers from 22 countries, including 33 professional golfers and 6 amateur golfers from home are participating in the ongoing tournament.

The third edition of Bashundhara Bangladesh Open concluded Saturday at the Kurmitola Golf Club (KGC) with a mega prize giving ceremony adorned by Housing and Public Works Minister engineer Mosharraf Hossain and Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan.
