1733 COVID-19 cases, 37 deaths reported in Sylhet division

The number of infections and deaths from coronavirus or COVID-19 has kept rising in four districts of Sylhet division.

The total number of confirmed cases stands at 1,733 while the deaths at 37 in the division as of Wednesday (June 10) morning.

A total of 406 patients have recovered so far in the division.

The information was confirmed by the last bulletin issued from the health directorate.

Of the four districts in the division, Sylhet reported 989 COVID-19 cases, 351 in Sunamganj, 208 in Habiganj and 152 in Moulvibazar as of Wednesday morning since the first case was reported on April 5 here in the Sylhet district.

Of the deceased in the division, 28 were from Sylhet, 3 from Sunamganj, 2 from Habiganj and 4 from Moulvibazar district.

Of the recoveries, 128 recovered in Sylhet, 135 in Habiganj, 62 in Moulvibazar and 81 in Sunamganj district.
