A total of 339 people, who returned home from abroad recently, were sent to home quarantine in last 24 hours in Satkhira district.
With this, a total of 1,900 overseas returnees remained in home quarantine in last 10 days in the district.
Besides, one has remained in isolation unit of Satkhira Sadar Hospital.
Satkhira Deputy Commissioner SM Mostafa Kaml confirmed the matter to risingbd on Thursday (March 26).
Among the overseas returnees who were kept in home quarantine in last 24 hours, 55 in Satkhira sadar upazila, 122 in Kalaroa, 22 in Tala, 12 in Kaliganj, 70 in Shyamnagar, 29 in Ashashuni and 29 in Debhata, he said.
A total of 9,614 people returned home from overseas countries in last 22 days (from March 1 to March 22) among of whom 7,714 have remained out of home quarantine, he said.
