2 get life term for killing Kishoreganj farmer

A district court handed down life term imprisonment to two people and fined them TK 2 lakh in a case filed over the murder of farmer Chhofir Uddin in Karimganj upazila of Kishoreganj.

The court also sentenced four other accused to one year in jail and fined them Tk 5,000 in the murder case.

Mohammad Abdur Rahim, judge of First Additional District and Sessions Judge Court in Kishoreganj, delivered the verdict in presence of the accused around 11:00am on Wednesday.

Those who were sentenced to life term are Hanif Mia and Manik Mia, sons of late Hafij Uddin.
