2 killed in Mymensingh road crash

Two people were killed and three others injured as a bus hit a battery-run easy-bike on Mymensingh-Kishoreganj highway in Gouripur upazila of Mymensingh on Wednesday.

The accident took place around 10:30am.

The deceased were identified as Rafikul Islam and an unknown old woman.

The injured are undergoing treatment at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gouripur police station Borhan Uddin said, “They are trying to identify the old woman and arrest the bus’s driver and helper as they managed to flee the spot soon after the accident.”
