2 killed in Sirajganj road crash

Two people have been killed in a head-on collision between a pickup van and a human hauler (locally known Nosimon) at Salanga upazila in Sirajganj.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Rafiqul Islam, sub-inspector of Hatikumrul Highway Police Station, said a Pabna-bound pickup van and an Arot-bound Nosimon collided head-on Tuesday morning in Goja Bridge area of Hatikumrul-Banpara highway, leaving the duo dead on the spot.

Police seized two vehicles.
