20 shops gutted in fire

At least 20 shops were gutted in a devastating fire at Soulri Bazar under Ajmiriganj in Habiganj district on Tuesday midnight.

The fire originated from electric short circuit, said fire fighter of Baniachong Fire Station Md Hridoy Mia.  

The fire originated from the shop of Kamal Mia and spread to near shops rapidly.

On information, fire fighters of Baniachong Fire Station rushed to the spot and controlled the fire with an effort of two hours.
