20 villages flooded, 2 die in Bhola

A total of 20 villages have been flooded by the tidal water due to cyclone 'Amphan' in Bhola district.

Cyclone Amphan, one of the worst storms over the Bay of Bengal in years, has also killed two persons in the district.

A 75-year-old victim Siddique Rahman died after a tree fell on him while he was on his motorcycle in Char Fashion upazila. Bhola Police super confirmed the matter.

The other deceased Rafiqul Islam died after a trawler carrying him capsized near Ilisha Rajapur Ghat in Sadar upazila.

Cyclone Amphan has also destroyed many houses and uprooted trees and electricity poles.
