21 new corona patients detected in Mymensingh division

21 new coronavirus or Covid-19 patients have been detected in Mymensingh division, taking the total number of infected patients to 649.

Mymensingh Medical College Principal Prof. Chitto Ranjan Debnath confirmed this to risingbd on Monday night.

Sample tests of 282 people were carried out at the PCR lab of Mymensingh Medical College and sample tests of 79 people were carried out at the PCR lab of Jamalpur Hospital. Of which, 21 people tested positive for coronavirus in the division, he said.

Among the patients, 320 are in Mymensingh, 145 in Jamalpur, 118 in  Netrokona and 66 in Sherpur.

A total of 216 individuals have recovered from the disease so far.
