23 new coronavirus or COVID-19 patients have been detected in Mymensingh division, taking the total number of infected patients to 672.
Mymensingh Medical College Principal Prof. Chitto Ranjan Debnath confirmed this to risingbd on Tuesday.
Sample tests of 282 people were carried out at the PCR lab of Mymensingh Medical College and sample tests of 91 people were carried out at the PCR lab of Jamalpur Hospital. Of which, 23 people tested positive for coronavirus in the division, he said.
Among the 672 patients, 328 in Mymensingh, 152 in Jamalpur, 67 in Sherpur and 125 in Netrokona.
A total of 243 individuals have recovered from the disease so far.
