236 in home quarantine in Narayanganj

Three of the total 44 coronavirus infected people in the country hail fromNarayanganj, but they have been discharged from the hospital after formal quarantine.

However, about236 people have been kept in home quarantine in the district so far.

Many private and public organisationsin the district have taken various activities to prevent the spread of coronavirus. They are distributing hand sanitizer and masks among the people at free of costs.

Army personnel and policemen are pursuing the people to stay at their homes and working to ensure social distance.

An awareness campaign was started from Chashara on Thursday afternoon.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad JasimUddin, Police Super JayedulAlam and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
