3 held with 4kg gold in Jashore

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained three persons along with four kilogram of gold from Ghiba, Daulatpur and Amrakhali area of Benapole border in Jashore on Wednesday.

The detainees are – Dilip Biswas, son of Naren Biswas, Rabiul Islam, son of Monir Uddin, Monira Khatun, wife of Ramzan Ali.

Major Md Nazrul Islam, acting commander of 49 Border Guard Battalion, Jashore said, a BGB team led by Habildar Obaydul Haque conducted a drive in Ghiba area and detained Dilip Biswas with 1.998 kilogram of gold.

Besides, Rabiul Islam was detained with 785 gram of gold from Amrakhali BGB check post.

On the other hand, six pieces of gold bars were seized from Monira Khatun in Daulatpur border area.
