3 killed in Khulna clash: Sheikh Jafrin arrested

Police have arrested Sheikh Jafrin over the incident shooting on villagers at Moshiali village under Khan Jahan Ali Police Station in Khulna city that left three people killed.

Members of Detective Branch (DB) of Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) arrested him from a remote village of Bagharpara upazila of Jashore on Saturday afternoon.

KMP commissioner Khondoker Lutful Kabir confirmed the news. 

Sheikh Jafrin is brother of the main accused Sheikh Zakaria.

Three people were killed and several others were injured as Zakaria group opened fire on the villagers of Khulna's Moshiali on Thursday. The deceased were known as Nazrul Islam, 60, Golam Rasul, 30, and Saiful Islam.
