34 more tested Covid-19 positive in Gopalganj

Another 34 people were infected with coronavirus in Gopalganj in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of people infected in the district raised to 799.

District civil surgeon Dr Niaz Mohammad confirmed the matter on Sunday (July 5).

He said, the new victims included 17 in Gopalganj Sadar Upazila, 8 in Muksudpur, 6 in Tungipara, and 3 in Kotalipara.

A total of 356 people are undergoing treatment in isolation wards of different hospitals of the district and at their own homes, he added.
