Kishoreganj Correspondent: Four people of a CNG auto-rickshaw were crushed to death by a speeding truck in the district on Saturday morning.
The incident occurred around 8.15am at Matkhola in district’s Pakundia.
The victims were identified as auto-rickshaw driver Sharif, 35, and three passengers Khokon, 30, Rajia Khatun, 75, and Ohid Mia, 38.
According to locals, the truck hit the auto-rickshaw on Motkhola-Katiadi Road leaving two dead on the spot. Another two succumbed to their injuries on their way to the hospital.
Police have arrested truck driver Bacchu Mia in this connection.
