4 more coronavirus patients detected in Jhenaidah

Four more coronavirus patients have been identified in Jhenaidah, raising the total number of patients to 13.

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed this around 9.00am on Monday.

Jhenaidah Civil Surgeon Dr. Selina Begum said the results of 40 samples have been sent from Jessore University of Science and Technology. Of these, four samples found coronavirus positive.

The victims are ranged in age from 32 to 50 years.

Among the new patients, one is the health supervisor of Jhenaidah sadar upazila, one at Harinakunda upazila and two at Shailkupa upazila.
