4 of a family killed in Mymensingh road crash

Staff Correspondent, Mymensingh: Four members of a family were killed and four other were injured as a bus hit a private car on Friday morning.

The accident took place around 11:15am at Ramgopalpur area in Gouripur upazila.

The deceased were identified as Rafikuzzaman, his wife Shahina Akhter, son Nadim and daughter Ranak.

Kamrul Islam Mia, officer-in-charge (OC) of Gouripur Police station, said the bus hit the Mymensingh-bound private car from behind, leaving one dead on the spot and seven others injured.

The injured were rushed to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) where three of them succumbed to their injuries, the OC also said.
