5 dacoits held with arms

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-1) detained five dacoits with local arms in Gazipur.

A press release issued from Gazipur’s Porabari camp of the elite force came up with the information on Wednesday noon.

The detainees are—Joinal Abedin, 27; Imran Hossain alias Embu, 25; Wasim Ali, 21; Hridoy Mahmud, 24, and Mofijul Islam, 55.

Acting on a tiff-off that an organized group of dacoits is taking a position at the Chotodewra area of Gazipur City Corporation, RAB conducted a raid there and detained them with local weapons.
