5.5 lakh children to be fed de-warming tablets in Khulna

Civil Surgeon Office and Khulna City Corporation Authorities have set up a target to feed de-worming tablets to about 5,50,00 children.

The information was disclosed on Wednesday at an advocacy meeting held at School Health Clinic in the city with Khulna civil surgeon Dr. Sujat Ahmed in the chair.

Children Specialist Dr Md Sorafat Hussain explained the program with power point presentation.

Khulna Civil Surgeon Office organized the meeting with the assistance of the Department of Health under Phailoriasis uproot and de-warming control programme.

The week will be observed at 2,814 educational institutions in the Khulna city and district from April 4 to April 9, 2020.
