6 including civil surgeon infected with corona in Jamalpur

6 people including Jamalpur civil surgeon have been infected with coronavirus, raising the total number of the infected people to 57 in the district.

Jamalpur Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr. Md Shafikuzzaman confirmed the matter.

The other infected persons are two doctors of Jamalpur General Hospital, two health workers and a youth of Jamalpur sadar upazila.

They tested positive for the coronavirus in the PCR lab of Mymensingh Medical College.

Three people died of the coronavirus in the district.
