6 more Covid-19 patients detected in Mymensingh

Six more people including three physicians tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday, raising the total number of confirmed cases to 287 in Mymensingh division.

The newly-infected patients are two physicians and two staff of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, one physician of Sherpur and one from Sarshabari in Jamalpur.

Principal of Mymensingh Medical College Chitto Ranjon Debnath confirmed the matter.

The PCR lab of Mymensingh Medical College carried out test on 282 samples, of which six tested positive for coronavirus.

Among the total 287 corona patients, 150 are in Mymensingh district, 66 in Jamalpur, 39 in Netrokona and 32 in Sherpur.
