60 new corona patients including UNO detected in Mymensingh

A total of 60 people including Tarakanda UNO Jannatul Ferdous have been found to be infected newly with coronavirus or COVID-19 in Mymensingh, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the district to 1,889.

Mymensingh Civil Surgeon ABM Moshiul Alam confirmed this to risingbd on Wednesday night.

Sample tests of 480 people were carried out at the PCR lab of Mymensingh Medical College. Of which, 90 people tested positive for coronavirus in the division, he said.

Among the new patients, 60 in Mymensingh and 31 in Jamalpur, Sherpur and Netrokona districts.
