7 infected with COVID-19 in Mushiganj

A total of seven people including a doctor and two women have been infected with COVID-19 in Mushiganj.

Mushiganj Civil Surgeon Dr Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the news on Friday midnight.

Health officers of Mushiganj, Gazaria, Sirajdikhan, Sreenagar and Tongibari have been given emergency directives in this regard.

Samples of 16 people were sent to Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) on Wednesday. Of which, seven people have been found to be infected with coronavirus.
