88 more infected with coronavirus in Gazipur

Some 88 more people in Gazipur were infected with coronavirus in the last 24 hours, raising the total number to 2,673.

Gazipur Civil Surgeon Dr Khairuzzaman disclosed the matter to media on Friday (June 19) afternoon.

“Samples of 510 persons were collected in last 24 hours. Of them, 88 were identified positive newly,” he said.

According to the Gazipur Civil Surgeon office, a total of 28 persons died due to the virus and 413 persons recovered fully.
