AL leader slaughtered in Bandarban

Bandarban Correspondent:  An Awami League leader was slaughtered to death by miscreants at Sarai union of Lama upazila in the district on Tuesday night.

The incident happened around 11.00 pm in Hasnapara area.

The deceased is Alamgir Sikder, 38, son of former Chairman of Sarai union Md Ali and joint secretary of Sarai union unit of Awami League. 

According to locals, 12-15 terrorists, on motorbikes, attacked Alamgir on his way to the garden at night. Later, they slashed his throat and fled the spot.
