Allahr Dal leader held in Gaibandha

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has detained an alleged leader of banned militant organization ‘Allahr Dal’ in Gaibandha.

Azmot Khan, district nayek of Allahr Dal, was detained from Old Jailkhana Road in the town on Thursday night.

RAB Commander Major Galib said “After primary interrogation, Azmot Khan said he has been involved with the banned militant outfit from many days”.

“He  used to reside in Bihari colony of the town and was engaged in tin-business.  He was reorganizing the party under his business.”
