Another person tests corona positive in Tangail

Another person has been infected with coronavirus at Nagarpur in Tangail, taking the number of confirmed cases to 12 in the district.

The patient is an employee of a pharmaceutical company.

After diagnosis of coronavirus, the local administration has put 20 houses under lockdown.

Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Ohiduzzaman said the man came home from Dhaka on April 10 and his sample was sent to Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR). He tested positive for coronavirus there.
