Apprentice lawyer dies of dengue

Savar Correspondent: An apprentice lawyer died at a city hospital after being diagnosed with dengue fever.

Abir Hossain, 25, passed away around 9:30pm on Wednesday while undergoing treatment at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital in Dhaka.

Abdullah Al Mamun, father of the deceased, told risingbd that his son was taking preparation to pursue higher education on law in London. But all on a sudden, he got diagnosed with dengue fever.

Abir was first admitted to Ibne Sina Hospital in the capital’s Kallyanpur area. Later he was shifted to Dhanmondi General and Kidney Hospital as his condition deteriorated. He was finally taken to the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital where he succumbed to his fever around 9:30pm on Wednesday, he added.
