BCL leader arrested in rape case

Police has arrested a leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) in a rape case in the port city of Chatogram.

The arrestee is Akibul Islam, organizing secretary of Chatogram south unit of BCL.

Baklia Thana police arrested him from Bolir Hat area on Monday afternoon.

Officer-in-Charge of Baklia Thana Md Nezam Uddin said a woman filed a rape case against him for marring her through providing false documents.
