Bagerhat’s MP Mozammel Hossain dies

Dr. Mozammel Hossain, president of Bagerhat district Awami League, lawmaker of Bagerhat-4 constituency and former state minister, has died.

He was 80 years old.

He passed away at 12:40am on Friday while undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital (BSMMUH) in the city.
He was suffering from a combination of kidney ailments and other health complications.

To mourn his death, he left behind one son, a daughter-in-law, a grand daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers. 

His only son Professor Dr. Mahmud Hasan is the president of teachers association of Khulna University.
