Bangladesh ready to start Rohingya repatriation

Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: Bangladesh is ready to start Rohingya repatriation. Others necessary preparation is being underway in this regard.

Taskforce members joined a meeting to discuss over security and other issues.

Additional Divisional Commissioner of Chattogram Nurul Alam Nizami said this after the meeting at the office of Commissioner for Refugee Relief and Repatriation on Sunday.

All preparation to repatriate Rohingyas has been done already. If everything remain normal then the process will continue.

Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commission (RRRC) chief Md Abul Kalam, Additional Divisional Commissioner of Chattogram Nurul Alam Nizami, Cox's Bazar Deputy Commissioner Md Kamal Hossain, Cox’s Bazar police super ABM Masud Hossain, Additional RRRC Shamsuddouza Nayan, Additional district administration SM Sarwal Kamal, top officials of army and coast guards attended the function.
